testimonials on using a Happy Horse Hay Steamers

On Service:  The replacement boiler arrived and I finally found time to test it. It’s working fine!  I wanted to thank-you for the most excellent service you have provided since I bought the unit in the summer.  It’s a rare thing these days to have a retailer provide any follow up service for the things they sell and I am glad to have found the exception.  The steamed hay is everything you said it would be and my guy loves it.  Catherine Menzies.

On Service:   Thanks for your very prompt help - it was greatly appreciated - support after a purchase is as important as the actual purchase especially when it is a new thing. Take care - Jill Green, Guelph, ON

First, Bought a Traveller: It is very easy to use, and best of all, the horses really love the hay.  The first few evenings they were nickering as I approached with it.  I can see, when I work with the hay, how much less dust there is and the hay is so soft to handle and makes such a difference for the horses.  They used to always snort as they put their noses into the hay and I never hear that anymore.  Great product and very easy to use. Diane Cygan, Windham Centre
and Then, Bought a Stable Mate: I really love the Stable Mate.  It is so easy to use and to keep clean.  I roll the Stable Mate to each stall. .  Anyway, I have been using this unit for almost 2 weeks and I have nothing but good things to say about it.  I love the ease of use. Horses seem to enjoy the hay more and most of all it provides great health benefits for the horses.Thank you, Diane, Windham Centre

Eliminates Drugs: My 10 year old quarter horse gelding (Mel) has been breathing well since he  fed hay cubes and steamed hay only and I have been able to eliminate all drugs (related to his COPD).  Hay cubes only were not totally satisfactory as they did not satisfy his grazing needs and he became destructive in his field/stall (eating wood in his shelter etc.).  But only steamed hay has been a great solution in all ways. Had Heaves: I am very pleased with the unit. We have one horse with a light case of heaves and he is not coughing now and eats all his hay...I think he found the unsteamed hay hard to finish because of allergens. I have 3 Minis that eat the hay as well....might as well keep them all healthy. Eve Dexter, Campbellville, On

The unit performed flawlessly - Riding Again! -- Rita's horse, Guinness, made it through the winter in the best condition that I have ever seen him. The unit performed flawlessly and he required no medication other than an occasional dose of Respi-Free, and he was more than able to enjoy a full winter of riding.
Compared to a previous winter of Salbutamol and Ventipulmin, with minimal riding, this was fantastic. We realized that this condition will always need to be managed, but the hay steamer has been tremendous adjunct to his care. We could not be happier. David Stevenson, Carleton Place, On

Black Reign Friesians -- located in the Great Lakes Region of Ontario, Canada, in beautiful Georgian Bay, 2 hours north of Toronto. We are a small Friesian stable consisting of 12 Friesians horses, where we concentrate on quality not quantity. New for 2010, we have added a Happy Horse Bale Buster Hay Steamer, which is an unbelievable hit with the horses. We definitely endorse this product, as you add a full tied bale of hay into the steamer and set the timer for freshly steamed hay. We give our horses the steamed hay and did a test on which hay the horses would eat first. They all ate the flake of steamed hay first

QH: I have a 10 year old QH with many medical issues. The steamed hay has made a difference and I will continue to use this for him. The unit is easy to use and care for. With hard water you need to watch for scale build up but I find soaking the unit with vinegar works great. I great idea and would recommend it to anyone who has a horse that would benefit from steamed hay. Cheryl Keaney, Manotick

COPD, Now no dust: I have a 14 year old andulsion/arabian that developed copd very bad this past June. He's been on steroids, I've soaked his hay, etc. and was concerned how I was going to do that over the winter months when I saw an ad for the Traveller. I have been thrilled with the difference it has made with my horse. There is absolutely no dust whatsoever and the hay smells as though it has just been cut. My horse loves it. Viki Hedlund, Alberta
